1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Shriji Grocery website and mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Platform and place orders. By using our Platform, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of our Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided is inaccurate, false, or violates these Terms.

4. Orders and Payments

4.1 Placing Orders

When you place an order through our Platform, you are making an offer to purchase products. We reserve the right to accept or reject your order for any reason, including product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraudulent activity.

4.2 Pricing

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. However, price changes will not affect orders already placed.

4.3 Payment

We accept the following payment methods:

• Cash on Delivery (COD)
• Wallet Balance
• Online Payment (when available through payment gateways)

Payment must be made in full before or upon delivery. For online payments, we use secure third-party payment processors. We do not store your complete payment card information.

4.4 Order Confirmation

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation via email or SMS. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to cancel orders at any time.

5. Delivery

Delivery terms and conditions:

• Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
• Delivery charges apply based on order value and location
• Free delivery on orders above ₹200 for Shriji products
• You must provide accurate delivery address and contact information
• Someone must be available to receive the delivery
• We are not responsible for delays due to circumstances beyond our control

6. Returns and Refunds

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Our return and refund policy:

• Damaged or defective products can be returned within 24 hours of delivery
• Fresh products (fruits, vegetables, dairy) cannot be returned unless damaged
• Refunds will be processed to your wallet or original payment method
• Contact customer support to initiate a return
• Products must be in original condition with packaging

7. Wallet and Cashback

Our wallet system allows you to:

• Earn cashback on eligible orders (2-4% based on order value)
• Use wallet balance for future purchases
• Receive refunds in your wallet

Cashback terms:

• Orders ≥ ₹300: Get 2% cashback
• Orders ≥ ₹500: Get 3% cashback
• Orders ≥ ₹1000: Get 4% cashback
• Cashback is credited when order is delivered
• Wallet balance cannot be withdrawn as cash
• We reserve the right to modify cashback rates

8. Seller Marketplace

Our Platform allows third-party sellers to list and sell products. When you purchase from a seller:

• The seller is responsible for product quality and fulfillment
• We facilitate the transaction but are not party to the sale
• Sellers must comply with our seller policies
• We may intervene in disputes between buyers and sellers
• Platform fees apply to seller transactions

9. Delivery Partners

Delivery partners are independent contractors who deliver orders. By using our delivery services:

• Delivery partners must follow our guidelines
• Platform fees apply to delivery earnings
• We are not liable for delivery partner actions
• Delivery partners must maintain professional conduct

10. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit viruses or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Scrape or collect data without permission
• Interfere with Platform operations
• Engage in fraudulent activities

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Shriji Grocery or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our written permission.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Platform is free of viruses or harmful components
• Results from using the Platform will be accurate or reliable

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shriji Grocery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from:

• Your use or inability to use the Platform
• Unauthorized access to your account
• Errors or omissions in content
• Product quality issues from third-party sellers
• Delivery delays or failures

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shriji Grocery, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your content or conduct on the Platform

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Request by law enforcement
• Extended period of inactivity

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately. You may also delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
